Transforming management through measurement
The 2023 Procurement Act, which regulates public procurement, is due to go live on 24th February 2025.
The Act, and its subordinate regulation provides for certain changes in the way that contract management is dealt with by contracting authorities. Full details are available at Procurement Act 2023

One of the major changes introduced by the Procurement Act 2023 is the ongoing obligation to manage contracts in accordance with procurement rules. Procurement Gateway provides continuity throughout the lifetime of a contract, supporting the parties to effectively and efficiently manage their contracts notwithstanding inevitable changes in staff.
Once a public contract has been awarded through a public procurement process carried out under the Procurement Act 2023, Procurement Gateway provides a secure and immutable system for the contract management phase. It provides reminders, an immutable record of discussions conducted using Procurement Gateway, and provides a secure storage function for relevant documentation as well as enabling publication of notices on the Central Digital Platform (CDP).
In response to the Cabinet Office's invitation for innovators to bring forward ideas to facilitate the operation of the Act, Procurement Gateway Ltd has developed a centralised, web-based, easy to use, collaborative workspace for public and private sectors enabling them to fulfil their KPI monitoring and management obligations under the Act.
We are now inviting Contracting Authorities and Suppliers to work with us to beta test the Gateway.
